Parental Consent & Minor Privacy Notice

This notice explains, in plain language, what happens when your child is linked to a ProPath profile, what information is collected, who can see it, and what choices you have. It is written specifically for parents and guardians — for the complete legal terms, see the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
Your child's ProPath profile
When your child is linked to ProPath, we create a player profile connected to your parent account. You are the account owner and responsible adult; your child has a linked profile they can use for development tools, under your account.
Information we collect
We collect your child's name, date of birth, position, and basic soccer profile information; their development plan, weekly check-ins, and training assignments; and team/coach assignment information. We do not collect your child's home address, personal phone number, school address, precise location, or detailed health information as part of the core product. What your child can do

What the coach can do
- View development information relevant to coaching your child
- Review weekly check-ins where applicable

- Assign ProPath exercises and content

- Email you (the parent) through ProPath
What the coach cannot do
Coaches cannot privately message your child through ProPath Teams. Coaches cannot receive your child's personal phone number or private email through ProPath, and cannot initiate private electronic communication with your child through the platform. This is a rule built into the product, not just a policy.
Parent communications
If a coach wants to discuss your child's development, they email you directly through ProPath's Email Parent feature — never your child. You'll always know who a message is from, since it's sent through your verified ProPath account.
Who can access player information
You (as the linked parent/guardian), your child, and coaches specifically authorized to your child's team or direct coaching assignment. No one else can see your child's information through ProPath.
Why information is collected
Solely to operate the player-development tools described above — development planning, coaching, and team administration. ProPath does not use your child's information for advertising and does not sell it.
How long it is kept
We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for. See the Privacy Policy's Data Retention section for the current framework, and note that exact retention periods are still pending final legal review.
Your choices
You can review your child's information, request its deletion, disconnect your child from your account, or withdraw your consent at any time from your Privacy Settings in the Parent Portal.

Consent
By confirming a linked child's profile, you confirm: "I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of this player and that I am authorized to provide the permissions described above."
This checkbox, together with your authenticated ProPath account, is the consent method ProPath currently uses. [LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED BEFORE PRODUCTION]: for a child under 13, this checkbox attestation is not by itself treated as satisfying every element of COPPA's verifiable-parental-consent requirement — see the Privacy Policy's COPPA section for the current status of that review.
