Coach / Team User Terms & Acceptable Use Policy

Eligibility

A coach must be at least 18 years old, and must be authorized by the applicable team, club, or organization to access the players assigned to their ProPath account.

Legitimate Purpose

A coach may use player information accessed through ProPath only for legitimate player-development purposes — coaching, development planning, and team administration. Player information may not be used for any other purpose.

Prohibited Conduct

A coach may not:

• Privately contact a minor player through ProPath
• Attempt to circumvent ProPath's communication restrictions
• Solicit a minor player's personal contact details
• Export player data for unrelated purposes
• Harass or exploit any user
• Engage in grooming conduct
• Upload inappropriate material
• Publicly disclose player data
• Share their account credentials
• Access teams or players they are not authorized to access
• Scrape or bulk-extract player information
• Commercially exploit player information

No Private Messaging

ProPath Teams does not permit direct private electronic messaging between a coach and a minor player, in any form — see Section H of the Terms & Conditions for the complete description of what this covers. A coach's only channel for a human conversation is Email Parent, directed to the player's verified parent/guardian.

ProPath Does Not Vet Coaches

Unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific program, ProPath does not independently employ, certify, vet, or background-check coaches merely because they use ProPath Teams. A coach's team, club, or organization remains responsible for determining whether that coach is authorized to coach or access its players, and for any applicable background-check, safeguarding, employment, or volunteer requirements.

[ATTORNEY REVIEW REQUIRED]: whether a specific team, club, or organization using ProPath qualifies as a "youth service organization" under California law (or similar statutes elsewhere), and what obligations that status would carry for ProPath itself, has not been determined and should be reviewed by counsel rather than assumed either way.

Suspension / Termination

ProPath may suspend or terminate a coach's access for a safeguarding concern, a security or privacy issue, or a violation of this Policy or the Terms & Conditions, consistent with Section Z of the Terms & Conditions.

Reporting

A coach who becomes aware of concerning conduct by another coach or user should report it through ProPath's Safeguarding Report feature, and, where a child may be in danger or a crime may have occurred, contact appropriate authorities directly — ProPath is not a substitute for that.

Acknowledgment

By using a coach account, you acknowledge the statements presented at account setup (see /coach-authorize): that you are at least 18; that you are authorized by your team, club, or organization; that you will use player information only for legitimate development purposes; that you understand ProPath does not permit direct private messaging with minor players; that you will not attempt to obtain a minor player's personal contact information through ProPath; and that you agree to comply with applicable safeguarding, privacy, and youth-protection requirements.
